2021 ACM Awards - Gewinner sind bekannt

Maren Morris und Chris Stapleton führen mit je sechs Nominierungen

Maren Morris und Christ Stapelton sind definitiv die am meisten nomierten Künstler der ACM Awards 2021. Die Academy of Countrymusic hat die vollständige Liste am 26. Februar 2021 bekannt gegeben.

Morris und Stapleton erhielten je sechs der begehrten Nominierungen, wobei Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde und Thomas Rhett auch nicht weit dahinter liegen. Miranda Lambert verlängert dabei sogar ihren eigenen Rekord, der am meisten nominierten Künstlerinnen mit fünf Nominierungen, McBryde und Rhett haben "nur" vier davon erhalten.

Mit jeweils vier Nominierungen gehen Jimmie Allen, Kane Brown und auch Mickey Guyton ins Rennen. John Legend ist auch mit dabei. Sein Duett "Hallelujah" mit Carrie Underwood hat ihm eine Nominierung eingebracht. 2021 ist somit das erste Jahr, in dem vier farbige Künstler bei den ACMs nominiert sind.

Kelsea Ballerini und die Brothers Osborne, die sechs der diesjährigen Kategorien in der CBS Morning show verkündet haben, sind dieses Jahr ebenfalls nominiert. Kelsea steht auf der Liste für Female Artist of theYear, während das Brüder-Duo für Duo of the Year und Album of the Year auf den Preis hofft.

Die ACM Awards werden live aus dem Nashville's Bluebird Cafe, Grand Ole Opry House und Ryman Auditorium am 18. April 2021 übertragen. Die Show läuft auf CBS und beginnit um 8:00PM ET,  und wird ebenfalls als livestream on demand verfügbar sein.

Weitere Details wie die Moderatoren und Performer wurden bis dato noch nicht bekannt gegeben.
